Italy on the third day of the Salento International Film Festival with documentaries, short films on the program and closing with the first feature film in Italian competition Stare Fuori, the second work by Fabiomassimo Lozzi present at the screening together with the leading actor. The director comes to Tricase directly from Montreal (Canada) where he presented the film at the 33rd Montreal Film Festival where it was the most viewed film. The music by Giordano Corapi is beautiful and perfectly underlines the obsessive yearning of the protagonists, all very good and perfectly in part from Guia Jelo (Rosalia) to Ivo Micioni (Giulio) to Federico Pacifici in the difficult part of Rosalia’s husband.

The event opens with a preview dedicated to India, the guest country of this edition, under the patronage of the Indian Embassy in Rome. A celebration of culture, flavors and colors in the sumptuous monument of Palazzo dei Principi Gallone, cultural center of the city of Tricase.

This is an event of great international scope, an appointment with international independent cinema, which will see the participation of 98 films from 22 countries with world and national premieres

Gandhi, icon of pacifism and non-violence. Sixty original photos from the New Delhi museum. For the first time in Puglia and in Central and Southern Italy from 4 to 13 September at Palazzo Gallone. The photos portray Gandhi as a very young man in South Africa, and on his wedding day, then with Indira sitting next to him during a long and exhausting hunger strike. And then again in prison and finally at his funeral followed by the whole world.
