BED AND BREAKFAST IN FARMHOUSE
Masseria Uccio is a typical rural building in the Salento hinterland whose origins can be traced back to the 17th century.
It is a courtyard farmhouse built, according to the custom of the time, around the needs of the farmer and the functions he was called upon to carry out there. A real agricultural centre, intended for breeding and production, inside which the farmer and his family stayed, each with specific tasks and roles. Occasionally sowers, gleaners, shepherds and other laborers were added to the farm to help during the periods of greatest activity.
The Masseria is the typical architectural example of a farm in Puglia; all the accommodations of the B&B are created from the ancient rural building.
