Portrait Portrait photography is the art of capturing the essence of a person, going beyond simple aesthetic representation. A meeting of light, expression and identity.

Through the use of light, composition and expression, the photographer creates an image capable of telling stories, emotions and identities. Whether it is an intense gaze, a spontaneous gesture or a revealing detail, the portrait is an encounter between the subject and the lens, between soul and image.

Rules of Participation
International Photography Festival

The International Photography Festival officially opens applications for its first edition! A unique opportunity for emerging and established photographers to showcase their work, with the possibility of being exhibited in a group show or being part of the online exhibition.

Participation is open to photographers from all over the world. You don’t have to be a professional: we believe photography is for everyone.

Sections Open to Participation

Photographers can participate with a maximum of 8 images choosing from the following sections:

1. Portrait – Portraiture is among the most expressive genres of photography

How to Participate

Registration fee:

    • 2 images → €8
    • 6 images → € 20
    • 8 images → €25

  • Participation fee for selected artists: €48 (includes printing, set-up and dismantling of the exhibition).

  • Deadline for submission: June 5, 2025

Technical Specifications for Sending

🔹 Maximum number of images: 8
🔹 File format: JPEG
🔹 Resolution: 300 ppi, minimum 4000 pixels on the long edge
🔹 Print size: 18″x12″, 16″x12″ or 12″x12″ (depending on the image)

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please name your files using the format: “First Name & Last Name” (without titles, numbers or other details).

How to Send Your Files

⚠️ Non inviare le immagini via email direttamente, perché i file vengono compressi e perdono qualità.

In the sending message, indicate:

  • Name and Surname
  • Nationality and Country of Residence
  • Participation Category (e.g. “Landscapes & Urban Spaces”)

Those selected will be notified by email. Those not selected will not be notified.

If you are selected, you will be able to add:
📌 Title of the work / Series
📌 Link to your website or social media
📌 Information that will accompany your image in the online exhibition
