Cinema & Photography A visual dialogue between two arts. This category celebrates the mutual influence between cinema and photography, through images that evoke cinematic atmospheres, set portraits or shots that tell the story of the behind-the-scenes of the big screen.

Often ignored in official histories of photography, still photography has created a unique visual language capable of immortalizing the magic of cinema. This category explores its relationship with related genres such as photojournalism and fashion photography, highlighting its ability to transform an instant into an icon. Through portraits from the set, behind-the-scenes shots and images that evoke cinematic atmospheres, the link between photography and cinema becomes a story, suspended between reality and fiction.

Rules of Participation
International Photography Festival

The International Photography Festival officially opens applications for its first edition! A unique opportunity for emerging and established photographers to showcase their work, with the possibility of being exhibited in a group show or being part of the online exhibition.

Participation is open to photographers from all over the world. You don’t have to be a professional: we believe photography is for everyone.

Sections Open to Participation

Photographers can participate with a maximum of 8 images choosing from the following sections:

How to Participate

Registration fee:

    • 2 images → €8
    • 6 images → €20
    • 8 images → €25

  • Participation fee for selected artists: €48 (includes printing, set-up and dismantling of the exhibition).

  • Deadline for submission: 5 June 2025

Technical Specifications for Sending

🔹 Maximum number of images: 8
🔹 File format: JPEG
🔹 Resolution: 300 ppi, minimum 4000 pixels on the long edge
🔹 Print size: 18″x12″, 16″x12″ or 12″x12″ (depending on the image)

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Name your files with the format: “First Name & Last Name” (without titles, numbers or other details).
⚠️ Files that do not follow these rules may be lost!

⚠️ Non inviare le immagini via email direttamente, perché i file vengono compressi e perdono qualità.

In your sending message, please indicate:

  • First name and Last Name
  • Nationality and Country of Residence
  • Participation Category (e.g. “Landscapes & Urban Spaces”)

Those selected will be notified by email. Those not selected will not be notified.

If you are selected, you will be able to add:
📌 Title of the work / Series
📌 Link to your website or social media
📌 Information that will accompany your image in the online exhibition
