PostConflict War does not end with a truce. What remains are ruins, trauma, invisible scars, and the difficult search for a new normal. Through photography, we aim to shed light on stories of survival, justice, reconciliation, and hope in war-torn territories.

What are we looking for?

  • Photographic reports that document the post-war reality.
  • Stories of people, places and communities facing reconstruction.
  • The contrast between devastation and rebirth, between loss and resilience.

Rules of Participation
International Photography Festival

We are pleased to announce the first edition of the Festival of Photography, dedicated to the theme “PostConflict”. An invitation to war photographers and journalists sent to conflict theaters to document the wounds, resilience and reconstruction of the affected communities.

Participation is open to photographers from all over the world. You don’t have to be a professional: we believe photography is for everyone.

Sections Open to Participation

Photographers can participate with a maximum of 8 images choosing from the following sections:

1. PostConflict – Photographic reportages that document the post-war reality.

How to join

Registration fee:

    • 2 images → €8.
    • 6 images → € 20
    • 8 images → €25

  • Participation fee for selected artists: €48 (includes printing, set-up and dismantling of the exhibition).

  • Deadline for submission: June 5, 2025.

Technical Specifications for Submission

🔹 Maximum number of images: 8
🔹 File format: JPEG
🔹 Resolution: 300 ppi, minimum 4000 pixels on the long edge
🔹 Print size: 18″x12″, 16″x12″ or 12″x12″ (depending on the image)

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Name your files with the format: “First Name & Last Name” (without titles, numbers or other details).
⚠️ Files that do not follow these rules may be lost!

⚠️ Non inviare le immagini via email direttamente, perché i file vengono compressi e perdono qualità.

In your sending message, please indicate:

  • Name & Last Name
  • Nationality and Country of Residence
  • Participation Category (e.g. “Landscapes & Urban Spaces”)

Those selected will be notified by email. Those not selected will not be notified.

If you are selected, you will be able to add:
📌 Title of the work / Series
📌 Link to your website or social media
📌 Information that will accompany your image in the online exhibition
